A | (ECNS) -- Nearly 150 teenage Go players gathered Thursday in Huizhou District, Huangshan City, for the 2026 China ROK Youth Go Exchange Tournament and World Champions Invitational. The unveiling ceremony of the “Huangshan Space for Youth Go Culture” was held alongside the opening. Korea Baduk Association President Ha Geun ryul said the event would be a lasting memory for young participants, while Chinese Weiqi Association Chairman Chang Hao noted its role in promoting bilateral exchanges. Within the World Champions Invitational segment, Luo Xihe (9‑dan) from China and Choi Cheol‑han (9‑dan) from the ROK will compete in three friendly Go matches. Professionals from both countries will also attend seminars and cultural activities including bamboo carving, tea making and night tours of Huangshan. Local scenic areas have launched a series of supporting activities aiming to integrate Go events with local cultural and tourism consumption. 。 (ECNS) -- Chinese travelers in Cambodia can now use WeChat Pay to scan local KHQR codes for everyday purchases under a cross-border QR payment service launched Tuesday in Phnom Penh by the National Bank of Cambodia and WeChat Pay. Under the first phase, WeChat Pay users can scan KHQR codes at Cambodian merchants to pay for dining, shopping, transportation, tourism and entertainment. KHQR is Cambodia’s QR payment standard. The service also allows Cambodian merchants to accept payments from WeChat Pay users through their existing KHQR system without additional transaction fees. Cambodia received 450,000 Chinese tourists in the first half of 2026. A pilot visa-free policy for Chinese citizens took effect on June 15.
